Been a while since I've updated the site!  I have been very busy of late.  Completed the new Sonic disc.  It's called "Welcome to Evolution" and is available online at www.listentosonic.com.  I'm very proud of the work I did on this one.  Sounds great.  Can't wait to start touring in support of it!  We did a ton of press and went to Italy last week to perform at the Ariston Theatre in Sanremo.  The highlight of my career thus far!  I've also updated the Design pages. Have a look at the newest designs we've undertaken here at M2.

Wow, what a week!
Sonic and I performed in front of 21,000 people in honor of Youth Day in Toronto on Wednesday.  The show was a great success and loads of fun.  It was broadcast to several countries and was by far the largest gig I have ever played.  Big thanks to Marco, Mauro, Barbara, Ricardo, and Franco for inviting us to take part.  Perhaps we'll see you in Italy very soon - Hint, Hint!!

I played my last two shows with Shania Twin in Quebec's "Cottage Country" on the weekend.  Once again, thanks to Donna, Mike, Rob, Gabe, and Tom for making me feel like a member of the family.  I love you all and have a great time playing with you.  Give a ring, and I'll be there.
To Donna I say: "Keep your chin up, it will all work itself out."
To Mike, Rob and Gabe I say: "It will be hard to top Friday night, you guys rock!  I will miss you tons."
To Tom I say: "Thank you for the stimulating conversation! - You are my intellectual equal, and I respect all your opinions. (As wrong as they may be - HAHA!")
Tom drew this sketch of me.  I think it captures how I feel about the rigors of being on the road - EXHAUSTING!  Thank you for this great gift.  I will cherish it always.

It's finally done!  The Fake Reality album that was started in December has finally been completed!  I am very proud of this EP, and wish the band loads of success.

Just confirmed....   On July 24th, Sonic and I will perform for World Youth Day in front of about 20,000 people.  The show will be simulcast around the world.  It's back to the big leagues for Mr. Monopoli!!  Fake Reality album is almost done... Sounds great.  Band is ecstatic!  Watch for it!

I just got back to Toronto after a weekend playing in Maine.  I received an email from a very close friend of Shaye's.  It said that she passed away on the weekend in a car accident.  I feel horrible.  I keep coming back to thoughts of her today.  She was a very bright star and the ultimate passenger of the winds - a true free spirit.  I wish I could have spoken to her before this.  I will think of her often and pray that she is in a better place.  Shaye, if you're reading this, I can't think of a better guardian angel for your little niece!  "Joie Sans Fin".
