Flavio Monopoli is a Canadian producer, composer and drummer.

 

Under the name M2 Monopoli Music he has collaborated with both signed and indie artists to create imaginative and radio-friendly music. His productions have sold over 70,000 units, received international radio play—and great reviews! Flavio’s own compositions have been placed in television and film, including CBC’s Dragon Boys and The Chris Isaak Show. He also maintains an active drumming schedule, with thanks to the ongoing support of Yamaha drums, Sabian cymbals, Evans drumheads and Pro-Mark sticks.

The 80’s Hit Parade is launching after two years in development!


It’s a musical stage show, with MTV-style video hosts, big-screen graphics featuring music trivia, and 80’s-theme costumes, sets and lighting. “The response has been great so far”, says Flavio. The show is hosted by ex-Much Music VJ Chris Nelson and actress Jayne Collins, and the band includes bass player Roger Williams (July Black), talented singer and actress Meredith Zwicker, hearthrob in the making Corey Brouwer, and Flavio on drums.

Derrick Paul Miller: It Is Well... is the second album (and second Monopoli Music production) from the former Canadian Opera Company tenor. This CD features classical and modern sacred music and has already sold hundreds of copies within the first three weeks of its release. Derrick is currently on tour in eastern Canada. Derrick had this to say about working with Flavio... “He not only has extensive knowledge of the most up-to-date recording software, but also a wonderful work ethic, endless energy, and a very precise musical ear.
